LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER UNITED - Sunday 25th october 2009

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Not really the best time to face league leaders and our eternal rivals. I think the worst is over, and we are in a situation where we have nothing to lose. And we always come back well when odds are against us. I expect us to comeback well in this game.. Come on Red Men
1-0 us...

Not even confident about this one, with Gerrard not going to play, our defence can't keep a clean sheet, we are going to have serious problems dealing with Rooney.

I'm trying to be positive here, but how can I when we just lost 4 games in a row :(

I can't offer any sensbile reasoning to back it up, nor thankfully I should think for pretty much everyone any tactical analysis to explain why, but I am convinced we'll win this match and win it comfortably.

I fancy us to be absolutely all over Man Utd from minute one, to expose the fact that they aren't any great shakes themselves, and to win either 2-0 or 3-1.

My vain hope is that when we do, we can avoid the "so where are all the c...s now" posts from some of the died in the wool pro-Rafa people, and we can all just enjoy the win. God knows we need one.

Where is Bermenstein when you need him? Let's hope Robin Hood steals from the rich (c u n t s) and gives to the poor :D

If we were to win, I think it would be great but perhaps just paint over the cracks. The one thing about losing four in a row is it softens the blow of the next defeat, even if it is another nail in the coffin of 2009/10 as a season. Surely we can't go 7-7 in results, no top four side should accept that kind of rubbish record. If the players aren't good enough, with or without G n T in the side, then that can only be down to the man who signed them. It's not as if Dossena was on a free, nor Lucas, nor Babel.

If we were to lose, someone needs to find out whether six in a row is our worst run of defeats ever as we'd be on course to match it. The big question is where are goals going to come from, although I might ask when the last time a CB scored was

I cant wait for this, a win and everything will at least look a little bit better for us. God knows we really need a win right now

is there any news on Fergie's ban?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Well at least in these dark times you made the effort with a great starting post for what is probably the most important game we have played this season

I'm dreading this one. Either we will be lucky and snap a draw or the scums will humiliate us. Prepare for the worst lads because things are not looking good..

Our possible line up if we are missing our stars..

Kelly--carra--agger--insua

benny--macha--lucas--babel

God help us!
