Yep, WW is spot on, Firmino's form has dipped but is it any surprise when Coutinho and Mane have both been out for over a month. One thing Firmino does though is give 100%.

Who knows, maybe Firmino was worried he could end up behind bars for drink driving. Maybe that was what was on his mind and why his performances were so shyte. He's damn lucky he's not. Imo he should be, for the record. Same as anyone who takes the wheel with gargle on them.

A persons mind can get muddled up when you have issues going on. It is hard to concentrate, focus and even motivate yourself.
Who knows maybe that has been bugging Firmy.

I want to see our main xi back vs Hull.
Lets smash them goofs and give our lads the confidence we need.

Remember, the day before he was caught under the influence his home was burgled and it was so upsetting to him that he and his family moved to a hotel. That has got to mess your head up so those attacking him need to reflect a little. I am ready to cut him some slack since he always gives his all. He missed a couple of chances and misplaced some passes but ran the whole match and chased lost causes. The drunk driving matter has been resolved but the uncertainty about his families safety probably hasn't. If his wife puts pressure on we may lose him sooner rather than later.

He fecked up, no one got hurt and he's been punished. Let's move on.

He's a quality player and would walk into any number of top quality European sides. However, it's like to see him play forward, with a striker. Not Sturridge, not Origi, but a top quality striker
