Yesterday we saw that Gerrard can play succesfully CM. We knew that, despite Gerrard and Torres forming a great partnership in the last two years.

Yesterday we saw once again that Benayoun, when he's given a chance, he responds. And yesterday we saw the job done, the 3 points.

I don't know what has to do Benayoun to earn a regular starting place, out of 10 opportunities, he's used well 9 of them. We're waiting for Aquilani, Gerrard can be an effective CM, Benayoun has to be used, he deserves that and he earnt that on the pitch.

Decent game and a steady performance. But...it WAS only Burnley:) . But to be fair, they were OK for most of the first half. The first goal destroyed them though and it was only a matter of how many Liverpool would get in the end.

Nice to see Yossi get a hat-trick. Even Benitez must now understand that he deserves a regular start in this team.

Good to see sick note finally get a game. Can't believe that he's been at the clud for ages and yesterday was his Premiership debut.

What's worrying though (as mentioned by others) is Torres, he really looks buggered.

No im not Reg , Anfield is supposed to be a fortress , so now weve started giving welcome messages to the oppo fans, , not just Burnley Fans Reg , but its gonnA be every set of opposition supporters, Mancs , Bitters, them Chavs, if it was just a one off welcoming Burnley to the premier league it wouldnt be so bad, but its not,. Ive been in the Anfield Rd many a time an its supposed to be hostile, Well will be giving freebies out next, i honestly think it terrible
