Ok, let's try and get over the scum defeat and let's see the youngsters represent and succeed where the first team failed

I would like to see Danny Ward in goal, Brad Smith, Connor Randall, Teixeria, Ojo and the rest

Of the more experienced players i would put in the mix Benteke (he really needs game time if he is to improve), Stephen Caulker should play in central defence

We should beat these on our own patch even with our young men out there

Let's get behind them and put this to bed

I'd play our best side in this one, top 4 has gone and the FA cup is still the biggest domestic cup competition in the country.
If our youngsters get turned over by Exeter midweek and Stoke decide to go direct with Crouch and Walters et al in the League cup semi our season could be near enough over by the end of the month.

I agree mate. If we had beaten Mannure then i would have preferred a similar side to the first mach vs Exeter. Given that top four is out of question i'd want us to go for the cups.

On a better pitch and with a bit of balance and experience we should win this without too much trouble. I’d go for something like this:

                     Mignolet

Randall     Toure     Ilori     Smith

                 Allen     Brannagan

           Ojo     Teixeira     Kent

                      Benteke

Subs: Sinclair, Firmino, Can, Henderson, Stewart, Flanagan, Bogdan

Ward and Caulker are not eligible to play.

I haven't completely given up on a chance of reaching the top four and with a chance of 3 points at Norwich on Saturday I don't know if I'd field our best side against Exeter but I'd like to see 5 or 6 first team players starting in tonight's selection.

At least that line up is a bit better than the one that started the first leg.

I agree, disappointed that Kent & Ojo are not staring though, really like those 2 and kind of stunned by Enrique being captain as well

Looking forward to seeing Flano make an appearance as well
