Ojo kinda reminds me of Sterling a bit. I wonder will he turn into a greedy, disloyal wee pr1ck too?

Benteke made a complete balls of that chance at the end. My god, he doesn't look like a striker to me at all.
His confidence must be blown to hell altogether, and that blunder won't have helped him get his head together.

Good performance by the lads there, I wouldn't mind seeing a few of them get some game time with the first team tbh.

Really enjoyed that  :nod Thought they were very good and looked completely at ease throughout. Very good pressing and periods of possession.

Llori was good, don't think he gave the ball away once and looked composed passing out from deep. Smith was good and tex again showed his quality. Might not be the fastest ever but more than makes up for it everywhere else. Delighted flanno came on, his 1st touch split Exeter in two  you'd think he was only gone for a month. all those deserve to be sat on our bench in contention for a game imo.

The whole team played well and looked really comfortable with each other. Plenty of cohesion and they all worked hard on and off the ball. Ojo came on and scored a great goal, very promising that lad.

I'd say FSG are licking their lips looking at the talent emerging on that field tonight  :D

Good win for the lads. Impressive performance. Benteke has got zero confidence, his all over the place.

Glad Ojo and tex scored. I would like to see both feature in first xi.
Also flanno back, great news.

Against Exeter.

He's pants against anyone above League 1

Against Arsenal you mean? He is better then Can and Hendo ,much more composed and calculated ,offer better passing and just as mobile. He deserves a chance.
He was great at Swansea which is a bit more then League 1 if i remember and playing him at a deeper role didn't do him him nor Liverpool good service.

Made very heavy weather of the first game against a very average fourth division team. The kids did well and played with a lot of passion and determination. Just a real shame that the same cannot be said about Christian who is struggling desperately.

benteke should be evidence enough that Klopp needs to pick the striker HE wants to fit HIS system.

I don't want to see Klopp spending the next 2-3 years tying to fix another failed striker due to a poor recruitment policy.

Mike Gordon, Ian ayre, and other fsg statistical witch doctors fook off with your moneyball ***** and let the professional football manager do his job properly without a brainfart committee shoehorning in more problems.

When your youth team makes your first team look like *****, someone has royally screwed up. Not to mention youth players ignoring a 35 million pound striker after a pathetic performance! That's a new low, Benteke should be killing it but instead he can't finish in one on one situations. He just ran the ball out....

... Oh and well done to the young lads. Ojo, I am a new fan now. And of course flanno welcome back, can't remember the last game I saw him play.

It was an excellent  performance mainly by the young lads, they were all quite impressive especially Stewart, he looked almost a complete holding player in midfield. Ilori had an excellent game very steady CB clam,  Texiera is improving all the time, and worth of first team football, the same apply to  Smith, , Ojo, and Brannagan, and even Enrique had his best game. However I feel sorry for Benteke he looked out of sort trying to hard, which it complexing his game, he ought to go back to doing simple things of the game, and leave the fancy stuff aside.
Special mention to  "Flanagan" it was nice to see him back, he looked too rusty but with more games he will get back to full fittness. Ibe had an excellent game, and should be rewared with an excellent goal!.

Some the younsters performances will over shadow some of first team players!, and Klopp ought to give those younger players a chance in first team line up in future game, to have a right mix rather than waiting of first team players to come alight!!.

We must have a positive result against Norwich, it is a must win.
