I feel sorry for Lambert in the same way I felt for Carroll, we just don't provide the service for the type of player he is

Well why play him then, Mario should have started.

Based on the impact he made on the game I think you're right, buy he had the luxury of a worn out team to play against. Lambert was marked out of the game…he wasn't.

Prior to the game, it was a coin spin for me and Lambert's hit the net more than Mario

I think you're being a bit harsh on the defence, that wasn't an easy place to go, in fact it was a bit of a throwback to the old days where you'd often get that 'perfect storm' of a tight ground, shyte pitch and physical opposition.
I thought for a team renowned for being a bit lightweight and susceptible to caving in against physical opposition we stood up to the physical battle well, it's not often you come up against a CF built like a rugby prop forward and their goal was down to a goalkeeping error not poor play by any of our CB's.

Another bad performance by BR team there is no improvement in sight but only for end season departing Gerrard we would have lost the match. The present state of the club it does indicate that the LFC in sharp decline and it will continue to do so in coming months and seasons.

One player who save the team almost every game, but the club showing him the exit door and no longer in need of his services!! The idiot BR is totally responsible for such decsion. Had BR insisted the he wants Gerrard on long term the owner would have agreed to give Gerrard a more improved contract and keep him here forever, BR moves will prove costly alraight, he thinks that the donkey Henderson will fill in Gerrard's shoes, he does not have a skipper quality to lead the team by example, he makes more mistakes than any other LFC players, he just run like headless chicken not knowing what to do. This is a true reflection on how the Sh*t BR intend to take the club forward (sorry I meant BACKWARD).
It is a total misery and shame to see our beloved LFC being run that way.

These games are always tricky and of course they won't just roll over but we practically had a 1st team out there and we should have blown them away.
We are always in for a game regardless of the quality of the opposition because we aren't physical enough  :no

We are very easily bullied and the physicality of the side is an issue in midfield.

Henderson is probably our most combative player and he's a choir boy really, Lucas like to pinch the ball.

Premiership teams are used to sides trying to pass it around them or cross from wide areas so its a culture shock dealing with a straight ball just smashed up
and flicked on and we couldn't deal with it.

We only got on top after the free kick from Gerrard when they had to commit people forward but before that it as quite an even game which is poor from our
perspective.

Ok saying these can be tough games but its a cliché really as the gulf in finance is astronomical.

5. The Red Machine is grinding into gear
The result against Wimbledon means that Liverpool are now unbeaten in six games (scoring fourteen goals in the process), which is their best run of the season so far and have only lost one of their last 12 in all competitions. The Reds are moving in the right direction as they look to chase three trophies plus European qualification in 2015.

Without feeling like we are in decent form.....it appears we are !!!

God help teams when we truely hit form
