After this we've got 2 weeks rest. Klopp can have his winter break lol.
If we are serious about top 4 this is crucial. 3 points nothing less.

Lads must perform like never before.

We will probably win, Klopp will be cracking jokes and Linda Pizutti posting love and ynwa tweets, fake champs for the weekend.

Im sick to death of Liverpool but will go for a 3-1 home win.

Feel the same. Really would be no surprise if we beat spurs and arsenal and obviously it will be great but for me that won't paper over the cracks we have seen this season against the so called weaker teams.

Obviously in the short term, winning on the weekend keeps us well in the top 4 but long term beating the likes of spurs and arsenal doesnt do anything for us when we are getting turned over by the likes of Hull and Swansea and those results have left a real bad taste in the mouth for me.

If we can now go on a run and put away the so called weaker teams while also taking points off our direct rivals, will start to believe we are turning a corner.

This ame and our game against Arsenal define our season for me. We win them both and I think we'll get top4. Realistically, Tottenham are the 5th best side in the league and we are the 6th (some would argue Everton have as good a side as we do; I'd take a Gk, 2 fullbacks, a CB, a DM, and Lukaku from them + they have a better bench).

If we win against the sides around us it gives us a bit of room to drop points against the smaller sides; draws dont afford us that same luxury hence the drop outside the top4. I expect us to imporve against the smaller sides in the 2nd half of the season and if that holds, results against other top4 candidates become vital.

That said, I'm going for a score draw.

End of Dec we were 7 points clear of Mancs in 2nd place. This sat Mancs will be potentially 2 points ahead of us before we kick off and we will be in 6th place.

To make it more exciting we were 16 points ahead of Everton.
Could find ourselve just 3 points ahead of them.

A win against Spurs is a must. We can't go into a 2 week break with this shyte form still engraved in our morale.

Tottenham will be without defenders Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen for Saturday's Premier League game against Liverpool.

Rose has injured his knee and Vertonghen is still recovering from an ankle problem, meaning Ben Davies and Eric Dier are expected to continue in defence.

Erik Lamela is still struggling with pain in his hip but Kieran Trippier is available again after overcoming an injury to his ankle.

I hope that we pull a rabbit out of the hat with this one, a scintillating performance out of nowhere. We are due one. Hit them 1! 2! 3! game over...

3-0 to Liverpool...

..................PL    PTS

1 .Chelsea     25    62
2. Spurs         25    53
3. Man City    25    52
4. Arsenal      25    50
5. Manure      25    48
6. Liverpool   25    46
7. Everton      25   43

This is how it could look like after the weekend. We are on our way... to 7th spot maybe further if the lads don't wake up.

Very odd that most of our top players are rewarding us with utter ***** performances after signing new contracts. I know football is strictly a business now but Its like we are rewarding our players for being incompetent.

In last nights Echo it was saying that if Leicester beat Millwall in the Cup then after tomorrow we don't play again until March the 4th! That's nearly a month away.
Apparently if Burnley beat Lincoln we potentially have another long break in March as well because there's an international break then too.
Unless Leicester and Burnley field dramatically weakened sides we are only going to play 2 or 3 games over the next 2 months  :(
