Wijnaldum has been brilliant first half.. Hes pressed really hard and won the ball back or rushed Spurs into making a mistakes that's got us the ball back. Little things like that have gone unnoticed, but it helps us counter really quick and opens the game up for chances. Can has been sluggish and slow in recent games so its been a good decision to drop him. Mane has been exceptional btw, Spurs cannot cope with his pace.

Wijnaldum is hugely underrated by many on here. He works very hard and does all of the grafting that is vital but goes unnoticed.

I don't think anybody underrated him. A few of us have criticised him for missing some real good opportunities on goal.

It's a weakness in his game, I admit, but he's not here to score goals. Both he and Matip are top players and we need a few more of their quality.

I think he was literally brought in because of his goal-scoring record. But he's shown that he's capable for more than that. Outstanding game today.
