Was soft but Lucas was stupid to keep kicking at him, he was going nowhere.

Would hardly call that a kick though

Unlucky for Sturridge...the bar denied him a hattrick

FT 2-1 and we progress. Good shift by Sturridge but really should have scored 4

Score flattered Spurs who but for poor finishing could have salvaged ET.

You would have no qualms introducing any of the young boys if required and Sturridge in fine form no question.

Good win. Through to the next round, keeps our momentum going, and managed to rest a few. Roll on next game.

Any thoughts as to who we would like in the next round, I would rather we avoid Newcastle as they seem to be in form and are another without European football

Doesn't matter who we'd like, it's going to be Newcastle :D. Knew we'd play Dortmund last season (Klopp's ex club) and I know we'll play Rafa now.

Nice to see Origi looking like the player he was at the end of last season, thought Lucas had a good game as well.
Alexander-Arnold did a great job on Nkoudou who can be a tricky customer on his day.
