We will hammer this lot. I predict a 5-0 rout. Sturridge hattrick and 2 more for Luis

Doeboy good to see a match thread started with such an eye for detail   Must have taken you hours to assemble all the facts. Just joking. It's short an absolutely to the point.I just hope you're right !!!

at least put some effort into it mate! :)  or did you just panic because you wanted to start a match thread, I mean, it's only Tuesday!  I was part way through putting one of my match threads together you scally!

right I'll save it for the next game.

These are playing Thurs so hopefully will be a bit jaded after that.
We will have had 7 days between games and should be right up for it.
I dont like predicting hammerings because it can come back to bite you but if we could win this and win it well it would set us up for Southampton away next Saturday.
I'd take any win but 4-0 would be ideal.

Thought I'd keep it straight and simple because to be honest that is how I see this game going  :grinning: . I've watched Swansea a couple of time's this season and not been impressed. I know they have a new manager but they have some very ordinary players in their team and I really can see their heads dropping once we build up a head of steam and score. We will be eager to put that cup result behind us and this lot are going to be the ones to kop a pasting :)

The more interesting to follow is if Michu from Swansea returns....

Apparently Enrique's had 'complications' with his recovery from knee injury.

First of twelve cup finals. Gerrard will have everyone pumped up for this and I think we'll have too much for them.

Incidentally, when did Luis last score, is he having a mini-blip?

Four games straight without a goal, and only 1 in the last 7 (although he's had 4 assists in that time). Seems to be in a bit of a drought, but in fairness he's been pretty unfortunate from some good goal keeping and the posts. He's also turned into much more of a provider considering 4 is about half the assists he's actually deserved to get in that time period.
