LIVERPOOL v Hertha Berlin KO 5pm (BST)

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Sat Jul 29, 2017 12:29 am

Hopefully we put another decent side out tomorrow as the season is not far away now (our first game is two weeks today). I don't know how fit Mane is but i wouldn't mind seeing him, Coutinho, Salah and Firmino get a few minutes together as well.

Looking forward to it (live on LFC TV this afternoon)

Be interesting to see Klopps selection, but I do expect massive rotation in this one, given our participation in the Audi cup which will see us play Bayern next tuesday and either Atletico Madrid or Napoli the following day.

Yep, Jurgen has apparently said everyone in the matchday squad will get a game so I think we'll be seeing different XI's for both halves. I just hope he doesn't mix and match too much, the first team need game time together (as I said our first league game is only 2 weeks away).

Sorry mate, I'm watching on LFCTV.

Commentators saying how "dangerous" we look going forward.

I don't see it. Yeah . we're 2-0 up but I think we've been sloppy and i don't see any "team" pattern.

Very good second half. Completely in control and showing some flashes of class, especially Countinho's ball thru to Salah who finished with a beautiful lob over the keeper.

Robertson at LB looked very promising.

Overall, a good performance.

Yup 2nd half was very good, Couts pass was sublime. Thats why i say we need to keep him here.
Salah has so far blended in well. A couple of strong signing and we could do damage.

Robertson looked better than I thought he would, as for Coutinho what can you say? That turn and pass was right out of the top drawer. Mo Salah looks a player too, with his work ethic, ability to make intelligent runs, pace off the mark and of course skill he looks born to play in the prem, how he never made it at Chelsea is a mystery.
