Liverpool V Chelsea 12:45 8/11/14

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Some good performers from midweek but not sure they will get their chance tommorow.

Chelsea dont seem the defensive rock they used to be known for under mourinho

With teams like Burnley,Palace,Bolton and Even Shrewsbury finding away to score against them.

Costa apparantly will play against us tomorrow which im not too fussed sbout despite him having a good goal scoring rate this year coming back from injury i think will make him a bit wary and Drogba loves scoring against us.

If i was rodgers I would play the same back 5 that played V Mardid as they all played well.

Gerrard will play in this game judging by Rodgers comments but im hoping to see him further up field. With Can and Hendo protecting our back 4.

I would line up something like this

                                           Mignolet

Manquillo                 Skrtel                 Toure            Moreno

                                  Can                  Hendo

                                         Gerrard

Sterling                           Balotelli                  Coutinho

Ill go for a 2-1 home win

going to be a tough one this.
if we can get at them enough then we could score but will also need to be resiliant the other end.

                                                                    mingolet

                 manquillo                   toure                         lovren             johnson

                  lallana                           gerrard         coutinho                  henderson

                                                  balotelli                         sterling

not specifically in those positions in midfield but i feel thats the side he could go with. don't think it will matter a lot about the midfield as we will lose that battle to them whoever we send out.
hopefully we put in a good performance, create some proper chances and get a result  :nod

I'm just hoping for 3 points out of this one.

Last season's game against this lot still hurts like f**king crazy.
"LIVERPOOL: 6 European Cups, 19 Domestic Titles, 3 UEFA Cups, 8 FA Cups, 9 League Cups and 4 European Super Cups and 1 Club World Championship

All other English clubs pale into insignificance!"

I'm over this season... i just want revenge against the special c.unt. Seeing his team falter and drop points would be ecstasy right now.

I don't care how its done or how dirty we look after the game. At the very least let the Chelsea players walk away with some scars to remember the occasion.

Last season's result still hurts me,most probably will for years. This game is the biggest of our season so far IMHO if we beat them it could be a catalyst for the rest of the season and if JUST if Balotelli found his scoring form today I would for one be a happy bunny. Grasping at straws I know, and I have a go go at the players and manager at times but that's because I love this club since I can remember. So come on lads MAKE US DREAM

Not sure what to expect today, but i'll be f**king fuming if some of the stars from Wednesday doesn't start.

Cheer's CDR you are a credit to the forum lad  :nod
Rodgers is such a waffler and id say there is a few disgruntled heads on that bench. why does he even bother coming out with all that $h!te about competition when there is clearly none  :(
