Well done Bogdan. What a poor display, f*cking Carlisle man, AT HOME!

Liked that tune from their fans. How was it... sacked in the morning?

Being a fan this days not easy...Happy we won depressed from our future prospect.

Players fought today but again lacked ideas what to do with the round object. BR looks smashing in his suit.

Yay, we won! I see what Mags and Leeroy are on about now. All's well. Give BR a contract extension and £150m to spend in jan :D

Only listened to it on the Radio again but it sounded like we dominated, 40 odd shots to 4.
Even so we should be doing better against a side from the lowest teir.

Amazing win we showed tremendous character against a tough title competing side.

Whatever way you look at it it's not good. Carlisle are a f*cking terrible team. I've actually moved to near Carlisle so they're now my nearest club and I've been to see them at Brunton. Woeful.

Rodgers will not survive very long if results don't turn soon. Like him or loathe him the fact is we can't buy a win atm not even against a 4th tier side.

47 shots counts for fuck-all when you only put one of them in the net.
These are hard times to be a Liverpool F.C. fan. If Carlisle only had 4 shots and scored one of them, they have a 25% success rate, 1 out of 47 is 2.12%.
Fucking tragic.
If it hadn't been for our free goalkeeper, we would be out.
Our 'superstars' can't even score from the penalty spot goddammit!
The players' confidence will be at a record low after that. This is going to be a long, painful season I fear.

To be fair Rodgers isn't the first Liverpool manager to struggle against a lower league opposition in a cup game and I'm sure he won't be the last either, it has to be said though he's probably hanging on to his job by his fingertips atm.

pos- Liv 56% - Car-44%.
Goal attempts Liv = 52 Car = 5.
Shots on goal - Liv = 20 Car = 2.
Shots off goal - Liv = 32 Car = 3.
Corners- Liv = 19 Car = 3.
Goalkeeper Saves Liv = 1 Car = 19.

There is the stats yakka. Yes we dominated the game but the build ups were painfully slow or too fast for anyone to get on the end of. Had they of gone 2-1 up we were out.
Their keeper also made a few good saves but with the exception of 3 maybe 4 they were all hit and hopes. Milner, Coutinho, Ings and origi had several each that could have left the ground.

Thanks for that mate, I have to say I'm a bit surprised at those possession stats, listening to the Radio it sounded like they hardly got a kick!
One of the more alarming aspects of tonight for me was that we actually fielded a decent side, that team we put out wasn't a scratch XI made up of fringe/U21 players, that wasn't far off our best side.
Btw what happened to Lovren? Sounded nasty on the Radio, hope he's okay.

We don't tackle and when they had the ball the best chance we had of getting it back was when they gave it up.  At one stage they strung together a spell that could have had 40 - 50 passes in it.
Considering they also have the worst defensive record in tier 2 it was poor.

Lovren went up for a header and came down and rolled his ankle. You could see it going right over in the replay. Don't know if its broke but they put the bubble on anyway and he was taking oxygen when being stretchered. He kind of did it to himself and it was a similar story with firmino. He jumped in high for a header and came across the lad and then down on his back. It looked like his shoulder.
