Liverpool Football Club - Games

All these games crammed into such a short space, 11 senior players injured, i would expect to see a lot of changes in this match

Central defence will be interesting, i would imagine -if- Kolo is fit he would start with perhaps Can sitting in alongside him

Bogdan in for Mingolet, Flano in for Clyne, Smith in for Moreno, Teixeira in for Coutinho

Brannagan in for Lallana perhaps

I would imagine Milner would get a central midfield role in this one and if Lucas doesn't play i can see either him or Kolo captaining the side

Interesting one will be if JK decides to give Benteke a go up front, or if he decides to give Firmino another go

Unless they need match fitness I'd be surprised to see any of our first team turning out for this one.

Having said that, maybe Benteke could do with a bit more practice    :D

I was just reading that Tiago Ilori has a slight knock so even if he is back in time for this match from his loan spell he won't be quite ready, but Flanno expected to play some part in it

Even if Ilori gets his loan at Villa cancelled he would not be able play at Exeter in the FA Cup as he has not been registered in time

Liverpool are set to recall 18 year-old Sheyi Ojo from his loan spell at Wolves. The winger could be in the squad to face Exeter on Friday.

This is a banana skin game. Hence why we play on Friday night. Media are looking for their first story of the FA CUP weekend.

We don't need to worry too much about "resting" players for the Arsenal game as that isn't until Wednesday so plenty of time to recover. It's more about who might still be suffering from fatigue on Friday so not able to perform or be at risk of injury if played.

Yep, looks a good side that mate, especially with the Arsenal and United games coming up next week.

Very few options so something like this I guess.

                  Mignolet

Randall   Lucas   Ilori   Smith

              Allen     Can

        Ojo     Teixeira     Kent

                  Benteke

Subs: Sinclair, Lallana, Brannagan, Milner, Moreno, Brewitt, Bogdan
