Looks like Oliver forgot his cards. He’s meeting the game play, which is a huge disadvantage for us. They should have at least 3 bookings by now. This is a game Rooney would be destined to get sent off in if the ref starts booking them.

Solanke has been incredibly poor. Not sure he is anywhere near the level required. Bit of a head scratcher on what he is doing at our club to be honest.

Bore draw. Good save by Karius first half, but we haven't created much on target ourselves. This has got a draw written all over it. I can see Firmino comming on second half.

Expected first half performance given the rotation. Don't think we're playing too bad to be honest, had Solanke buried one of his chances we would have been in front, and it's really only about the result in this one.

Solanke is really poor though, if Ings had his chances he would have done better IMO.

We are the better side but struggling to show it. We have to rotate but its disheartening to see what our reserve is.
Solanke doesnt look any better since the start of the season.

Lacking that cutting edge...

Desperately need another striker in the summer as Ings isn't really up to it and Solanke is too inexperienced. Anyone know where Woodburn is there days?

Clyne has been dreadful today. All of the problems have come from his f**k ups on the right hand side.

Given the time he's been out, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but glad he didn't play against City...

The end quality today has been unbelievably poor. Solanke is absolutely garbage, he can't shoot, he can't pass .. and he rarely wins any headers. We need to move on Ings, Solanke and Origi in the summer.

I'm happy with a draw...couldn't field a full side here without risking problems for Tuesday. Chelsea aren't ever coming back into the top 4 and we've come out of this without any injuries. Job done.

Thank god I don't support Everton though....imagine paying to watch this turgid sh!te every week
