Liverpool Football Club - Games

Game is generally flat and this when we struggle. Poor goal to concede, Lovren seemed to have to be dealing with2...not sure where VVD was. Need to wake up and pick things up because the current pace of the game suits chelsea and we'll struggle to get back into this unless that changes.

We've played poorly the last three league games, our season is fizzing out rapidly....

A a bit of magic required second half from the three Amigos..

Our fatigue is evident but we must not lose this one. If the players want rest, they must get at least a point here. Midfield and front three must step it up. I agree with woof, Salah has played nothing since Roma at Anfield.

How great it that now we have to leave it to the last game abd squeeze whatever energy the lads have got against Brighton. We always do things the hard way it seems.

How f*cking awful. Can’t cross. Can’t get a touch in the ball. Solanke is a waste of space. He has played in how many games and hasn’t scored? Just terrible touches, fouls and losing the ball. I don’t understand why Klopp puts him in so much.

I’m genuinely concerned. At this point I won’t be surprised if we lose the final in a blow out and don’t get 4th

Two cup finals in space of two weeks now it seems. Is that even allowed? :D

Lethargic and tired. But we'll get top 4 and a week's rest will be enough for the squad to bounce back.  We also get 2 weeks break until the CL final, which should be enough.

I don't like the idea of resting the team for 3 weeks....we also look rusty when that happens and I think it'll work against us. Onwards and upwards.

Never got going today. Chelsea and spurs both play midweek so interesting to see what happens there. You'd think Chelsea would beat Huddersfield at home and spurs also have a  home game v Newcastle, who look like they are ready for their summer hols now they are safe.

I know we had Roma in between but dropping point at Brom and not able to beat pathetic stoke that really hurts now...

Lacked energy and ideas Chelsea won at a canter really, never laid a glove on them. Be catastrophic if we blew top 4 now but still in our hands, but only just. Squads creaking under the pressure and emotion around the club right now. CL emptying the tank with work still to do in PL.

For the third season in a row we've hit the wall, we aren't even running on fumes, our tanks are well and truly empty.
The reason we can usually beat teams who have more quality than us on paper is because of our system, we press teams high up the pitch and harry them into mistakes, we don't give them a minutes peace, we hunt in packs and run them into the ground.....except atm we arent doing any of those things.
Right now we are a hit and hope team, we aren't building attacks we are just flinging the ball in and hoping for a lucky break.
