1) Buvac wanted to be considered for the Arsenal's job.
2) Club decided that Buvac should be on garden leave and not be involved in running of the team and all tactical meetings
3) if he fails to land the Arsenal's job, he will be back for next season

...hence the wordings of the club's statement and the timing of his leaving

Can't see Arsenal seriously considering him for the job....

I think the guy has some personal issues, and wants to take a bit of leave!?? The club HAVE NOT said he is leaving, so for me, he will be here next season. Hey sorry but sh*t happens, let's not panic. Jurgen is a big boy and doesn't require his no 2 to wipe his behind for him, especially at such a crucial stage of the season.

Listen folks, if it's in our destiny to win the European Cup this season, then it will happen. If not, then so be it...

Bill Shankly is watching over us...

"Karma" will prevail I'm sure, we have been epic in the champions league this season, long may it continue :nod

I would be surprised if Arsenal gave him the job as well but I can see the appeal, especially if he is really the brain behind our gegen set up. The Dortmund link there is interesting also.

Personally I wouldn't want him to leave and break up a partnership that is responsible for what we are achieving of late. They have been together a long time its possible one could be useless without the other.

Hopefully he gets whatever it is he needs to do done quickly and returns.

Don't forgot that Klopp has two assistants. Peter Krawietz (aka "the eye") has been working with Klopp for over 10 years.

Klopps achilles heel has been defence and consistency in the PL. Rotation and working with a bigger squad (perhaps essential) something he has found problematic, understanding why it's necessary and when to apply.

Maybe Klopp has requested a new voice, a guy who can help implement these improvements within Klopps framework.

Shake Buvac hand and move on.

Think there is a bit of truth in the Arsenal job and that's why he is on leave.

I bet Mourinho was having a pop as well with his coments about Faria.

I'm guessing they want him in as part of the coaching team rather than as the main man. But it would just be weird for him to want to move for that.

Yup i would find it very odd if he is just part of the coaching team over there.
Feeding Arsenal Klopps Knowledge is not ideal.

Your source of this information!??

I think the guy just has some personal issues, nothing more. He'll be back next season I'm sure.

THE arsenal link is ridiculous, as if they will offer the job to somebody with no managerial experience

So we've got "the eye" and "the Brain" in our coaching staff, can Jurgen not tie his own shoelaces or something!? Next we need the "bottom wiper" in case Jurgen struggling a bit.

Ridiculous. We can survive without any individual backroom staff, trust me. :nod
