Salah goal vs Roma was better than Ox vs City.

What a wonderful talent we have on our hands. Going forward he’s already at a very high level but for me he’s still a novice defender. He’ll make naive defensive mistakes this season and I’m sure there will be occasions he will pulled out of the team and protected but without doubt we should be investing in him. If his defensive game goes up a couple of notches he’ll be one of the best fullbacks in the world in a couple of years.

I thought he looked very athletic against Torino, more athletic than last year, he still a growing lad of course and he will be improving for a good while yet, at his age he won't start plateauing out for at least another 4 or 5 years.

Still a work in progress. He has so much skill but needs to improve his confidence and believe in himself more.

His crosses lack accuracy unfortunately and rarely find the target, and he needs to work on that. Otherwise, good stuff.

that's a huge weakness for a fullback...He had so much time and so much space but failed miserably in delivering the killer cross..that's a must for him going forward.

His delivery wasn't much good last week against West Ham either tbh. I think it's going to take a few games for players to find their rhythm.

Guys... to me he is not a crosser, that's not his strength. You can see that Robertson's strength is in crosses. TAA is more about speed, athleticism, cutting in and taking a shot at goal. As long as he is 'decent' at delivering a cross or a simple pass, he can function as a full back.

He may not have found his range this season in the 2 games he has played, but his delivery into the box is generally very good.

He offers a lot more than Clyne going forward but just a little less defensively. He deserves to be the RB and he will only get better.

he is not a crosser

:no  disagree
The lad puts in some great crosses, maybe his timing and placement is currently a little off but I've got belief in this kid, given time he'll be a superb attacking FB for us.

As it currently stands I have no problem seeing his name on the team sheet ahead of others  in the RB position.

Same as I said last week.
I watched him after he misplaced another pass in the first half and his body language showed how frustrated he is with himself. He has the capability to become some player, but he has to persevere and get it right. He needs to calm down a bit and not be so hasty.
That will come with experience.

Either he was exhausted last night or couldnt be ar'sed? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he's still only a baby really
He actually looked like an inexperienced 16 year old academy player who had sneaked on to a first team match.
Absolutely woeful
