If we sell Allen for 13m and Benteke for over 30m we haven't really spent that much.

Let's not forget that we might still could get some decent combined coin for Balotelli, Markovic, Illori and Luis Alberto.

I wonder if we will buy a LB. Net spend is hardly anything if we do sell Benteke and Allen.

Would have liked to see us go in for Mikhtaryan  :nod Klopp signed him for Dortmund so maybe he would have signed for us. What we did sign is from mid table sides so its disappointing we aren't aiming a bit higher. Our side is already packed with average so adding more isn't really going to see us pulling up trees anytime soon.

Of course Plenty of time left so hopefully we pull a rabbit or 3 out of a hat  :;):

Departure wise I'd say we still have a few more to go.

should speak your mind, if your unhappy raise your concerns

most of the signings I am happy about although I don't claim to be an expert on a few of them, blindly in Klopp I trust tbh

Go for it fella....

I am unconvinced that signing players from relegation fodder is the way forward, but I do trust Klopp and am happy for him to spend the next 2 seasons building something great. Until then, it'll be a case of strap yourself in and hang on tight. Because it's going to be a bumpy ride  :upside:

I don't see too much difference in our transfer strategy compared to previous years....

I know that we have a better manager now, but I can't demand the impossible of him.  :)

None of us are asking for the impossible. But we all demand the possible!  :nod

Its faith at the moment i guess. Trust in Klopp.
Like many i can't comment on a few but we've seen Mané and Wijnaldum.
Both seem to have positive attributes which will boost our attack for sure.
Cons I've noticed are they go missing for a few games aswel.
Im sure Klopp will make them work their bollox off.

Maybe Klopp thinks (like many fans do) that he's a much better manager than the likes of Wenger, Guardiola, Mourinho, Conte, Pochetino, etc. and as such we can do better than these sides despite obviously having inferior talent. No other justification to going out and signing -seemingly- the exact same standard of players we've been signing the past few years with nothing to show for it.

Like everyone else, I also think Klopp is a great manager. Before we signed him, I had him as my second choice behind Ancelotti for one reason only: transfers. Go out and prove me wrong you nutcase.

An interesting twist on out going deals...

Liverpool have had a bid accepted for Brad Smith from Bournemouth. Around £6m (SkySports)

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/ ... ky-sources

If that goes ahead that would be £21 million from Bournemouth for Ibe and Smith, that's almost Wijnaldum paid for  :grinning:
