Race is now between us City and Arsenal.

Considering United were fancied by a lot of people to actually win the title Jurgen deserves credit for finishing above them.

One shouldnt get credit for others' failure mate...

I will give credit to JK when we start challenging for the title. This season has been too many mistakes. The miscalculation of the squad depth is the biggest mistake...

Agreed. Let's be honest, what with no europe to deal with this year, the early exit from the fa cup and taking into account that brilliant first half of the season, for us to trip up so badly in the second half of the season and just about get over the line for what looks like 4th, isn't exactly something to shout about if you put into context.

If you look at it in isolation, it is a great achievement and a target met however there are a lot of question marks for me after this season and keen to see how we the manager and players answer them next season

Back to the run in. So it has come down to the situation where all we need to do is to beat an already relegated team at anfield. Do we have the stomach for it. I hope Klopp uses the same line up with maybe Firmino coming in for Origi...

However, regardless of what happens, we should put Boro away on sunday. They're down and have nothing to play for. Whereas we have it all to play...including 3rd and automatic qualification for the CL.

We should put them away, with Liverpool there's always a concern it might not be so straightforward.

I was thinking maybe if you're Boro you play through your skin in your last PL game in front of your fans (for a while), but since it's at Anfield, I don't see that happening.

Saw this quote from someone. Let's hope Man City slip up as those potential ties look very difficult indeed.

If we finish fourth, we'll be unseeded in the CL play-off round. Which means, we could potentially play against Sevilla, the 3rd placed team from Bundesliga (Dortmund), the 3rd placed team from Serie A (Napoli), or the 3rd placed team from Portugal (Sporting Lisbon) on August 15/16. The draw will be on August 4th.

Must admit, this has been playing on my mind. Even though we are more than capable of beating those sides and (I'm sure they will be gutted at drawing us just as much we don't want them), it is very awkward, especially in August so finishing 3rd would be brilliant.

However City have WBA at home and Watford away, and you would expect them to win both but you never know. It may even come down to goal difference once we beat Boro and if they win and draw in their last 2 games.

Imagine we get Sevilla who could ever think that.
Revenge would be sweet however they still are a strong side.

Hopefully Boro wont put up much of a fight but surely the players can rise to the occasion and win the game.

Well 25 minutes have gone in the Arsenal game mate and it's still 0-0 so you never know. Granted it would be a huge shock especially given Arsenal's recent results but stranger things have happened.
