Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

On LFCTV now ,West Ham U21's 0 Liverpool U21's 3 ....with goals from Kent, Ojo and the returning Yesil ,looking sharp in the first half .

HT 0-3 Yesil looks a real threat ,and Kent has been superb ,boys at the back have looked good too ,especially Connor Randall.

That's good news. Hope to see them get a chance in the first team this season.

I wonder if any of the reserve team lads will get a run out on Tuesday? There's quite a few first team squad players that could do with a run out, Markovic for one.
The likes of Coutinho could do with some game time as well so he can try and play himself back into form. If he was firing on all cylinders he'd make a hell of a difference to our first team so Brendan should be moving heaven and earth to help him find his game.
Skrtel is rusty too having only just returned from injury, a run out may do him good and you'd think Enrique was nailed on to start as well.
It will be interesting to see what Brendan does, especially with the Derby looming up.

Anyone seen much of Pedro Chirivella, heard he is being called the next alonso, is he ready to get a go in the 1st team in the league cup.

I think he may be given some game time this season, not much cause he is still very young. He is good. RM are keeping close tabs. They can go where the sun don't shine.

I've seen him a few times now ,and I don't know where the comparisons to Alonso are coming from ,excellent player though who personally reminds me of Platini ,he's one that I would definitely fight to keep at the reds though mate.

I don't want to be too harsh on the youngs lads i saw featuring against Boro but it was like more of the same...Disciplined committed lads with no flare and creativity..Hendo Type mold...Soo Boring. Again based on one game so i might be way off...

Our young former Barcelona starlet scored a hat trick and is apparently now on to the radar of Real Madrid.

Liverpool youth are leading 0-1 away against Ludogorets ,goal scored by OJo

Update 0-2 Jerome Sinclair with the second

Update Ojo gets a brace 0-3

The game ends 0--3 to the reds

I think half of them should have played in the 'real' game at that rate...

You're not kidding fella ,some of the football they played was men against boys ,Chivrella and Canos look class ,but young Rossiter dictated the game ,and as regards the
strikers Sinclair looks like Sturridge and plays like him ,he could have a hat trick if not for the woodwork ,and Ojo's style  reminds me of Lukaku .

Enjoyed watching our future stars ,and apparently Madrid scouts were watching both Chivrella and Canos ,but possibly went away with Rossiters name being more
prominent on their 'ones to watch ' list.

21y/o Christian Dean, American CB, and 19y/o Sam Adekugbe, Canadian LB, both of Vancouver Whitecaps were trialists for LFC U21s yesterday.

We've had a good relationship with the Whitecaps over the years.
