This is something we lacked under Rodgers. I think with Klopp in charge he would be able to successfully persuade probably 80% of talented young players we are targeting to sign. Such is the clout his work at borussia Dortmund had created.

Only thing that worries me is that he was already in our scouts eye before Klopp arrived. 

Must admit I was a bit gutted when I saw that myself.
Klopp has had a good look at him and okay'd the deal though so I'm just hoping Jurgens eye for a player can help seperate the wheat from the chaff

Klopp is the manager now so I don't understand what you mean by you doubt he's a Klopp signing. Why would we sign players just because they were on radars while BR was there? Surely Klopp gave the endorsement?

I'm sure he gave the nod but I doubt he wanted the kid personally and rather took someone's word for him. Things were probably set in motion even before Jurgen was appointed.

Marko Grujic granted work permit

Marko Grujic can officially begin his Liverpool career after successfully being granted a work permit today.

The 20-year-old joined the Reds from Red Star Belgrade in January, but returned to the Serbian club on loan for the second half of the 2015-16 campaign.

Grujic began pre-season training at Melwood on Saturday and following the successful conclusion of the work permit process, will now be eligible to play for Liverpool‎.

The midfielder will wear squad No.16.

Good to see the lad make a debut and he certainly looked like he can handle himself. Hope he gets a good chunk of minutes through the season
