Manchester united fans - Possibily the scum of football fans

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Man U were better than us today I'm sorry to say. They outfought us for much of the game and outclassed us in too many aspects. Much as it pains me to say it, they deserved their win today.

HOWEVER, on a more pleasing note, they are also clearly yesterday's team....

Keane is 33 and seriously beginning to show it and has next season at most before f*cking off north of the border. Scholes too is a shadow of his former self, Van Nistelrooy will be sold in the summer. Beckham is a distant memory, as will Giggs be soon. Saha will NEVER make the grade. Rooney is a class act, but a major liability and will p*ss his career up the wall once Ferguson's protective yet concrete rule is over (ie. in another year). In Roy Carrol et al they have no better keeper than Dudek - bad news for supposedly the biggest club in the world. The cracks are appearing thick & fast at Manure and no one can deny that, not even their most die-hard fan.

Yeah they beat us today, but their glory won't last. They'll finish another season trophy-less and direction-less. Everything about them spells YESTERDAY.

Well, there is nothing we could do about it. Because he didn't sign a new contract with us and if he didn't sign a new contract with us and we lose him for nothing. We don't want make another mistake like we did with Steve McManaman went to Real Madrid for nothing.

marklfc wrote:after todays game, i hate manchester united fans more than i do birmingham fans, they are idiots.

at todays game i was sitting in the lower anfield road end just behind the goal, and i thought the behavior of the scum supporters was ***** outrageous.

all throughout the game they were looking for trouble across the divide, shouting abuse at fellas who had brought their children the game.  singing songs about scousers being robbers and calling us self pity city and holding up leaflets with vote boris on them, they were also chanting it.  only for the hypocrites to start chanting 'rooney, rooney' and 'rooney 1 scousers nil'.  at the end they were singing justice for heysel as well.  i just think they were bang out of order.

i dunno if anybody remembers the incident years ago were a scouser was hit in the face with a brick and lost the sight in one eye, its documented in the andy nicholls book 'scally' (the lad who done the damage apparently done in a revenge attack with a blade) but there is a song going about about it that manchester united fans take great pride in singing, i thought that was a bit distasteful.  i take into consideration that liverpool and everton alike do sing songs about munich, but i never heard none of this today.  the manchester united fans were even singing 'where's your famous munich song' before they went on to sing about heysel.

i do know that there is a hatred between the 2 clubs, but this is taking the p1ss.

what amde me laugh about them is when there was a police announcement about them being kept in after the game and escorted to their coach, when the announcer said 'this is a announcement for the manchester united supporters'  one clever manc churped up 'we are the greatest team in the land'  funny the first time, but the announcement was made three times during the course of the game, and the pleb kept repeating the same punchline.

somebody should of told him about the mighty chelsea, cos i dont see them winning nothing this season with chelsea about

then to top it off i heard one of them complaining that the referee was a scouser and he was giving all the decisions to liverpool,  i thought that was a bit rich coming from manc who if it wasnt for referees, would be in the sh1t.  referees were always coming to the rescue of them with 5 and 6 minutes of injury time.

I was in the Lower Annie today as well.

To be honest I didn't think the United away support were particularly annoying today. They definitely lacked the passion of the Everton supporters when they were at Anfield.

The Boris Johnson songs, the self pity city etc etc - completely predictable and fairly half-hearted. The Johnson poster has been done before - the United supporter looked so proud of himself holding it up. And in fairness I thought some of ours responding with 'There's only one Harold Shipman' was out of order.

At the end this overweight United supporter with glasses threw a bit of abuse at us. One of ours lost it completely, I thought he was going to jump over the divide at the Manc. The Manc obviously did too - he nearly shat himself - I thought he was going to start apologising

thing is though, your lot have been giving us the unoriginal munich ****** for years. Thats sick, but taking the ****** out of innocent oaps with no connection to the club is downright dispicable. Imagine the outcry if we started off the '96 was not enough' chants on a regular basis or any about bigley?

Agree with the first part Wooly - partly it was due to a poor performance by ourselves.

It is nice to see how reliant United remain on their ageing core players. Try as he might Ferguson has been unable to replace them. Scholes and Keane stopped Stevie playing today. Keane in particular was immense, but they're stuffed in a year or two when he moves on.

Well, would you like to play for REAL MADRID? As a professional footballer always dream to play for Famous White Kit in the whole world.

No, nothing to do with money, I think it was fell through and Owen cut his wages down to sign for Real Madrid. I think he earn £50,000 a week for Real Madrid (I don't know if I am right about it). It was very complicated about Michael Owen's contract.

We have moved on without Michael Owen and I wish him all the best for the future with Real Madrid.

Yah I see your point....but loyalty has to account for something....not many players in any sport are loyal anymore.  How can they be like you said when you get offered to play for a huge club.
