Ward is totally Unproven and it would be silly to just throw him in at the deep end. This is plan C

For all the stick this lad gets, he had a decent game today. Beaten today only by a wonder goal and a 2nd dubious penalty.
He lacks leadership and has poor game reading skills...
BUT he showed a BIG pair of Bollo.x today to just stand up to a Kane penalty. BOSS THA!

Been saying for years that Keepers should just stand because of the % of penalties that go down the middle.

Agreed. He's looked decent these past few games and his distribution is much better than Migs.

Not convinced he'll be a world beater, but think he'll be a good number 2.

Karius done well today saved our *****'s on more than one occasion,love the way he comes out and actually wins the ball ,Schmeichel like for the stop from Son. I think he will grow with the confidence that comes with consistent game time.

He's no better than migs for ffs. Quicker we get a world class keeper the better. If he caught the ball from the cross which looked straight forward really it wouldn't have been a goal. As for save from penalty kane hit it poorly simple as. He's not good enough !!
