He was excellent today, easily Hull's best player.

Just said as much myself in the Tottenham match day thread. He should be back here.

Seems to be enjoying himself at Hull where hes allowed to be a free spirit.

You can see hes grown up a bit, comes over more confident and agressive in his play lately. Pushing the ball in front and racing away from people.

Think it will be hard for him to come back at Liverpool, but hopefully will do enough to attract buyers this summer. Seems a decent lad and needs to settle down at a club now, somewhere hes wanted and appreciated.

Sadly he's not up to it. Great he's finally showing some promise, but (even though they beat us) Hull are a dreadful side.

Klopp game him a full pre-season and used him in quite a few matches, so he knows what he's about. However, like the two previous clubs that have loaned Markovic, he's decided he simply isn't good enough.

Move on and hopfully get some of our cash back. I think we've earnt 2-3 million from the loans alone so perhaps we'll break even, given his £20m fee included add ons.

I still think his pace and directness would be a real asset to this Liverpool team, he practically had the Goonerz defence chasing shadows.

I beg to differ he was one of our best players and he had a few assists. *As he recalls wistfully the beautiful clipped lofted ball  that landed on the nut of Grujic to dispatch perfectly over a despairing Bravo * I believe that was pre season against Barcelona  ???

You may differ while the rest of us which saw him fail time again and again will stick to our opinion...He is a mentally weak player failed in Turkey as well...What a waste of money

Who exactly are the rest of us ?  Oh I know ,that's that unfortunate collative desperate for certain players to fail rather than see them turn their respective careers around !

Markovic is a talent, raw yes, but a talent nonetheless and I'm backing him to be a success at Hull, partly because I believe the lad will succeed but more to see him twist the knife into bitter fuckerz such as you and your select group of Naysayers.  :D

I just think that in too many games in the last couple of months, we have lacked pace and directness. Coupled with a pathetically weak bench, surely he can come back next season and replace one of the youngsters as sub? There's certainly a top player there, bit feeble mentally but he is still very young and the way he had top defenders like Koselny chasing shadows the other day bodes well. I think he's worth a place in the squad for one more year before we flush another £10/15m down the toilet.
