He took his goal well, he does not do anything badly, he just doesn't do anything brilliantly either.
He's good at short passes and 1/2's. That's it. I'm good at that also :)

Was it just a coincidence that we broke a record for scoring when he was missing?
I think not.

Klopp needs to get this captaincy thing sorted out. Hendo is not a leader or motivator at all. My NAN could do a better job :)

Captain?? Where the feck are thou???

If Hendo is still leading the line next season I'm going to be very baffled by Klopp persisting with him.

I'd take the captaincy off Hendo, and give it to Wjnaldum or Matip.  I would give it to Coutinho, but he may be a goner next summer.

Then I would drop Hendo and Can to the bench, and play a midfield of: Llalana, Wjnaldum and Coutinho.

Thats our best bet. :)

September 22nd 2017
"It brings me no pleasure to criticise any Liverpool player, especially out captain, but he is at best an average player and absolutely none of the top clubs in this country or europe would have him. People who are making excuses for him are doing us a disservice and not really understand the enormity of the situation. If Klopp has a major weakness its that he is prepared to stick with the likes of Henderson even though he is detrimental to us becoming challengers again"

Using Henderson as a box to box midfielder is effective ,Henderson sitting deep and breaking play is the polar opposite of effective, this was clearly evident last night when after a decent spell of possession to wrestle back a modicum of control he hoofed the ball straight back to Seville and a few minutes later the balls in the back of our net.

If you watch the first goal we conceded Henderson is barking orders and pointing for Moreno to cover the run when he could have easily covered it himself ,especially if he's obviously seen the danger before our hapless LB  ???

He must be doing amazing things in training to keep getting starts in matches, and still being captain. Maybe he picks up jurgens dry cleaning for him, or takes his dog walkies. That's all I can say.

We've all known for a very long time that Henderson is a half decent footballer and definitely NOT a Captain. How he continues to have the Captaincy is beyond my understanding.

As for his stats against Seville I did have to laugh when one fella posted

He has the same stats as me ! and I'm at home sitting on the couch in my pyjamas ! "
