Could be a BS story to try and justify letting the deal run down who knows, Can has not earned 200k a week, steady but unspectacular progress.

I can see the 200 going to Salah though, at some point we will have to increase his salary significantly.

If Can’s agent can find a club to pay him 200k pw then good luck to him, great work.

Reports on Liverpools wage bill say

Salah is joint 2nd top earner at the club along side Milner on £120k per week. Top earner is Van Dijk  £150k pw

Can is on £70k pw

"Good" news just keep pouring... :(

Losing 2-3 starters within 2 weeks is a huge blow..On the bright side we did crash city without Can and Matip...Maybe Gini will give us his first away super performance:)

Ox, Milner and Gini against City it is. These injuries have us very thin now.

Maybe its a blessing in disguise... Ox is in good form now and his confidence is sky high the way he's been chirping in press  :D

I think when Ox is on form he can be more devastating than Can. Of course Can's work rate is generally better but Ox's not really a lazy person himself...

Saw an article and the headline read "Can torn between..." .

I thought "oh good, he may want to stay" and clicked the link and it was " Emre Can torn between Juventus and Munich"

He's 100% leaving!

Think he might go to City myself. He could have signed a deal in January with a foreign club and he didn't.

Is he honestly good enough to be starting for those sides week in week out? If we bought in Keita and Jorginho he'd be the weak link

Beyond caring TBH. We didn't miss him against City and I think Can is the one with everything to lose here, not us.

LFC is rising back to its rightful perch in Europe's elite. He can either be part of it or f**k off. Either way, there's no stopping the Klopp-fueled dreadnought  :buttrock

Can is getting too big for his boots anyhow. His Arrogance of not signing a new deal, shows his character. Lfc is the club on the up, and the one to be at.  He may not even get in the Juventus starting 11, and could be a squad player.

He still has a lot to prove. :nod
