any news on his injury - he was having another great game last night, as his confidence is rising the better he is becoming, hopefully back very soon.

Well played lad!

Gutted for him, he was starting to become our number 9 and really coming into his own. He'll be a miss against Villareal, especially the away tie - not necessarily his goals, more his industry

*****. Sounds about right though, as even light ligament damage is a month out....

His season is over if those reports are true  :(
Gutted for the lad, we are going to miss his power and pace up top that's for sure, not to mention his goals.

Did Belgium qualify for the Euro finals? I hope he doesn't rush back and make it worse.......

5 goals in his last 5 matches, feel sorry for the lad. Just when he took the number 1 spot upfront and was on fire.

Big Blow for us indeed...He really fit into Klopp system and that's the big loss...Sturridge is more talented no doubt but Origi was the right man at the right time...Moneyball anyone?  :grinning:

Plenty of time for Ben-teke to become a hero by scoring in every remaining game we have including the winner in the UEFA cup final.

Been brilliant of late has Origi. Leads the line brilliantly and has really come on from his early performances this season which were frankly dire. Injury has come at a bad time as I genuinely feel Klopp would've started him in both Villareal games and the final if we get there.

The great thing too is that at 21 (just) he can still get much better.

A big, big loss for us, we really needed him for the Europa League. At least we have a fit Sturridge now though, thankfully. Hope the injury isn't too serious and won't affect his career in the future.

It's just so typical for us. Player gets in form, starts scoring goals for fun and suddenly gets a serious injury. f*cking Funes Mori.

Out for 3-4 weeks and doesn't require surgery, which would see him just about back for the EL final should we make it

Good news for the lad
