His game time will be limited a lot. If we were in Europa then maybe he could've got mins under his belt.

Just wondering do we really need Ings?..

I know the lads got potential but he is waay down the pecking order. I feel he will probaly only get about 5 appearances this season.

Firmino
Origi
Studge
Ings

We can class Firmino as a so called striker aswel. His been given preference over Studge and Origi many times.
So really Ings will be just a bench warmer this season.
I would want to keep him for squad depth but doubt he will want to stay.

Origi has a terrible first touch. Give Ings a go?

They've all got poor first touches a part from DS who is our only WC striker, who is also being mentally tested by JK.

I'd play Ings over Firmino to be honest.  If ever lad needed game time it's Ings.

Not looking great for Ings as a 4th choice striker, often not even making squad.

Club will always find an excuse but good players find fitness within the first team squad not reserves.

I wouldnt be at all surprised to see him move on loan or permanent this week.

Hard time to see a future for Ings at the club. His development will stagnate a lot if he only get league cup games
Can see loan move or sale in the near future.

Apparently quite a few loan requests for Ings'y, the most public one being from Sunderland, however JK has made it clear Ings'y is going nowhere and sees him as very much part of his plans

Inges is a better striker then Origi and considering Sturridge track record he should be getting a chance to play...He is the only 9 we have other then DS

Personally thought Origi got much better as the season went on and think he potentially has a higher ceiling of development than Ings.

Ings will get his chance. He's had a LONG layoff from a potentially career ending injury. He's best to slowly build up his fitness and sharpness, because he will have to take his chance when it comes .

Agreed, Origi showed at the end of last season when he scored home and away against Dortmund and also the opener in the derby at Anfield that he has got the potential to be a very good player.

Klopp rates him. There is a story going round that a bid of 20 mill has been turned down by Klopp personally.

Whatever he has seen in training he likes.

I think that lad has a lot of talent and will come good if his knee repairs 100%

Incredibly stupid of Klopp to wave away £20m for our 4th choice striker.

Take it and buy a full back or cash toward another player.

Klopp must see some talent there however i agree with you. 4th choice striker with limited game time this season. A loan would have done good for Ings this season.
Next season if we are in Europe then there will be a lot more chances.
