Group E: Liverpool, Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, and Slovenian side Maribor.

Squad:

GK:
Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet, Danny Ward

DF:
Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez, Ragnar Klavan, Alberto Moreno, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, Jon Flanagan, Conor Masterson, Trent Alexander-Arnold

MF:
Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner, Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Marko Grujic, Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Emre Can, Cameron Brannagan, Ovie Ejaria, Sheyi Ojo

FW:
Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Daniel Sturridge, Sadio Mane, Dominic Solanke, Ryan Kent, Rhian Brewster, Ben Woodburn, Harry Wilson

NOT INCLUDED: Clyne, Markovic, Ings

Surprised Clyne's injury is that serious. Gomez is now going to have to cover 2 positions that are thin on options.

Yup looks like Clyne is out for a while. Its rare for Clyne to be out this long, hope his back soon.

Hasn't Ojo gone on loan to Fulham?

So not only did we fail to sign a CB in the transfer window, we are now finding out that our first RB option will be out for what is likely to be months.

This by far is our weakest back line we have had in a very, very long time.  :no

Well played FSG, well played.

I agree mate our options do look bleak.

All it will take is a couple on injuries and were screwed at the back.

wow that is bad news, I don't know why but for some reason I was expecting Clyne to return any day now. I know TAA and Joe Gomez would probably be ahead of him in the pecking order but James Milner could do a job at RB imo, in fact he'd probably be more suited to RB than LB. Okay his lack of pace would be a concern but with his experience you'd think he'd be less likely to drop a clanger than the young lads.

Have one ticket to UCL match Nk Maribor : Liverpool FC. Excellent seat, West side, 13th row, vip sector. PM if interested.
