Well isn't that a coincidence...

After City we have nothing to fear. The best draw out of the three.

First leg v Roma at home. We've just got to bang a few goals in and blow these boys away, should be enough.

That will do, there are no easy games at this stage and it will be tough, especially given the second leg is in Rome, but we have avoided the Ronaldo's, Isco's, Robben's, Lewandoski's etc
With all due respect to Roma if we can't beat a team clinging onto 4th place in Italy by their fingernails (over 2 legs as well) then we probably don't deserve to get to the final.

Stylistically Roma were the worst draw but in terms of quality of squad they are the best draw. They haven't conceded a single goal at home in the Champions League so we'll need a strong result at Anfield to take to Italy.

Personally would have preferred Bayern in the semis BUT at least v Roma we've got the first leg at home. Score a couple, keep a clean sheet, and like the Man City tie it could work to our advantage  :)

Italian side, they will definitely park the bus at anfield... and someone's gotta mark Dzeko. He is a striker similar to Ibra. Once he can plant his position inside the box or near it and receives the ball, we'll be in trouble...

And they will be looking to exact revenge on us for stealing Salah. What is it with these CL draws, they always seem to have sub plots!

Definitely not gonna take Roma lightly especially what they did to Barca...but I can sense some have already make hotel reservation in Kiev

I think the best chance we got against Real is in the semis...they will be a nightmare in the one-off Final

We weren't that bothered about him when he was in his prime playing for City so let's not start flapping now.
It's going to be extremely tough but let's not forget that we have won 2 of our 5 European Cup's in that very stadium.
Rome is a very special place to this club, now we are going back, it will be nice for Jurgen to tread in the footsteps of Bob Paisley and it will be nice for the likes of Mo, Sadio and Roberto to walk into that stadium with a Liverbird on their chests just like Kevin Keegan and Kenny Dalglish did back in 77 and 84.

They're an aging squad as Yakka said so they'll park the bus and kick 7 bells out of us at every opportunity.

The reason we beat Porto and Citeh was because we got a commanding lead in the first leg.... same plan lads, same plan.

I'll be in Kiev, I've told the missus.

We didn't steal him, we did pay them... just not as much as he is really worth  :rasp

Just imagine Salah sealing their exit...
