The curious case of Andy Robertson. I wonder when will Klopp play him. He has shown goid signs when his given a chance. Personally i feel his got better defending attributes than Moreno. His a decent left back that needs game time.

He isn't happy here at not being able to get gametime and wants to seek a loan move in January. Apparently the club will block all moves.

Have to say I feel sorry for the lad. When he first was approached to come here i'd say he was delighted and fancied his chances because of the then situation with Moreno. Then he signs and Moreno makes a comeback which leaves him in no mans land. I am sure he had a few offers and  probably regrets he chose here. I mean the managers comments about him being to much of a LB is just baffling and bound to have the lad thinking on why he was signed in the first place.
Clearly a bit of politics going on here.

Word on the street is that he has struggled to adapt in training so far. But in all honesty he was only ever bought as a stop gap. From his side he’s a little unlucky that Moreno has improved but I wouldn’t be in a rush to bring him into the starting 11 based on one good performance against Palace. He’ll get game time between now and the end of Jan due to the number of games we’ll play.

In the summer we’ll go back in for Emerson Palmieri or another first choice left back, and we’ll keep either Moreno as Robertson as backup.

Your source of this information???

In the summer we’ll go back in for Emerson Palmieri or another first choice left back,

Again, how do you know??? Klopp came out last week and said he is happy with Moreno, and also he has Robertson.

Do some proper research pal.

Robertson should be given a fair crack of the whip.

I've been away for a few weeks so have missed his first run in the team. What do people think of him so far?

He's been doing very well imo, Certainly has hit hat in the ring to hold on to that starting spot when Moreno returns.

Robertson Played really well on Friday night, apart from one ballooned cross in the second half he hardly put a foot wrong, defended well against Bolasie at 0-0 and surely first choice LB at the club now

Hugely impressed with Robertson, looks a class act in defence and in pushing forward down the left, I predict great things.

Agreed, if the kid keeps this up, we might not need a new LB. Him and Moreno battling for that left back position seems to be very beneficial for us.

We don't need a new left back, and I doubt Klopp will sign one. Robertson is sufficient.

I hope Robertson does keep it consistent and continues to improve. It would be one less position we need to worry about.

Mystified at how many people seem to think LB is a priority signing for the summer.

We have a lot more pressing issues than left back. Robertson has been more than adequate. Keep it up lad

From the first minute it was evident Robbo was the solution for the LB position...The fact we had to wait for Moreno's injury is another bizarre decision by Klopp..Maybe it has to do with Moreno being best bud with Couts...Anyway Andy is a great player and in no way should we look for another player.

I really hope he keeps his place when Moreno returns from injury he’s a much better player and the defence we played vs Everton look the most solid we’ve had in forever.
