I thought seeing as though most people seem to enjoy computer/console games then I'd make a post where we can talk about retro, PS2, GC, Xbox or next gen gaming :cool:

I rather enjoy coming back to oldies. Recently I got hold of CPS emulator - Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Punisher etc. At my young times I spent a lot of money and time playing these games at arcades

Alex The Kidd (Sega Mastersystem),
Bubble Bobble (Arcade),
Pac-Man (Atari 2600),
Mortal Kombat,
Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Arcade),
Tetris (Gameboy),
Cannon Fodder 2 (Amiga),
Lemmings (Amiga, also have on pc now too!),
Leisure Suit Larry (Amiga).

All the Grand Theft Auto's (PS2),

Pro Evo 1/2/3/4 (PS2),

James Bond Agent Under Fire,

Olympics 2004 (cant remember proper name, but great multiplayer with the lads (PS2) ).

BTW my friend works for 'Xbox Officail Magazine' and has already played a PS3, and says it is just amazing and knocks the Xbox for six......He said the graphics are just amazing.....and for those who love The grand theft auto series......rumour has it that the next version (for PS3) is already in early production stages and will be minimum at least twice the size of the last one, talk is you will be able to fly to different countries........But then again maybe this should be in the RUMOUR THREAD

Since I last looked at this thread, I've been rumaging around my loft for two hours in search of my Commodore 64. I found it, I plugged it in and hooked it all up,and... IT WORKS!!! I got out all the old cassettes including Bruce Lee, The Blues Brothers, Xenon and Gauntlet. I've given it pride of place in the middle of all my other golden oldies including my Neo-Geo and my NES. Ah, the good ol' days...

Ive got quite a few favs, Leisure suit larry, got the new one on the Xbox now, its dead funny but liked the old ones also.
All the Monkey islands.
Quite a few Zeldas, just completed Zelda the minishcap on the gameboy that was great, next ones out around chrimbo.
Marios, yoshis Island.
Donkey kongs 1,2,3 the one on the game boys great aswell I was on the last level and the baby deleted it

cant be @rsed startin from the begining again.
MIST, RIVEN on the pc also great oldies.
Shivers, harvest of souls where also great horror games.
I like Crash Bandicoot, 1,2,3, also Spiro I like :blush:

Used to love Croc 1 and 2.
Gabriel Knight was boss but i never finished it.
Alex the kid on the mega drive, mega man, the goonies, Bomberman, on the nintendo and the Goonies

Havent really got time anymore but Ive got some great games, but they take to long these modern ones, got a new horror one called Obscure its dead scary I sh.it meself playin it

S.hit Paul C........how could I forget about Gran Turismo and Mario Kart (it was all about Luigi on the ghost races!!!)

Just thought of this and surprised nobody has mentioned it yet...........Good 'ole! Championship Manager

PS - I always wanted a Neo geo, but like you say the games were too damn expensive for me to even consider such a purchase, but it was basically arcade graphics in your home wasnt it......I dont know as i never even got to play one :down:

I will never forget the first time playing LSL on my Amiga and getting into that room to 'have sex' with the prostitute, leaving and then promptly dieing in the street outside with 'Aids' due to not wearing a condom :laugh:

Then i found the shop to buy condoms, and gave her a proper seeing too!!!! :cool:

If the new one is on Xbox it MUST be on the PC too?? If they are as good and funny as the one I used to play, then I might have to pick up a copy (well when I can afford to that is!!).
