Boom....4 weeks in the bag. celebrated yesterday with a couple of drinks....the good thing is, after a break, you don't spend as much money because you get drunk far, far quicker  :D

I saw this post a couple days ago and realized it had been a good month since I last drank.

So I grabbed a few with some buddies on Friday night to celebrate my month off  :nod

BUT you soon fall back into the regular habit which makes them 4 weeks off totally pointless.

very true....my aim is to drink friday and saturday...and that's it.

Four weeks also wasn't as tough as i thought...once you're through the first week, it's easy

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

If you exercise you don't need to give up the pop, or more to the point, you'll naturally decrease as you increase fitness.

I have no idea what I meant when I typed this.

I agree Reg.  Exercise helps tremendously. I've lost 30 pounds since January and with training starting up for footie I'll be a bit more active.  Also I found out my wife signed me up for the 5 a side league.

It's been a month for me now.

I've been hitting the gym, playing football and a bit of jogging, I don't think I'll have a drink in a month or two
