I was reading the sports section of the paper,now ive always known that England have a good team but it just struck me when i looked down at the starting eleven tonite that this team/squad are as good as if not better than any other in the world(on paper)..The week link in the England team is Sven himself!The iceman they call him!I call him a mediocre manager with very little to say and no passion whatsoever,apart from when a fit lady arrives and is starstruck by his stature.
I just think that if this team had a great manager they would be a force to be reckoned with and should win the world cup this time.In this country it seems to me that the tabloid press sack managers and not the FA.. An example being turnip head Graham Taylor a while back,the papers slag them off and the public join in !! So far Sven has a decent record,but with his squad he should be doing better and the team should be showing a lot more passion on the pitch.
Maybe the papers aint got on his case(in a footballing context) so much as they know its only a matter of time until another sex scandal comes theyre way as Sven cant keep it in his pants and while hes still the England manager he's pure tabloid gold! Just a thought!

Thinking that David (Anna Kournikova) Beckham is your best player shows that you know nothing about football. aFter letting England down in 1998 world cup, he chickened out of tackle (incase he'd hurt himself) that led to Brazils equalizer and then missed a bundle of penalties (but continued taking them due to ego) in 2004 Euro championship.

Go back to reading hello magazine, and talking about footballers haircuts/childrens names etc!

England win the world cup.

Thats the best joke ive ever heard. They are absolutely brutal. The media picks the team, Erikson is by far the worst man for the job...hes paid about 4.5m a year to work a part time job and go to the odd game on the wkend, has a dream team to pick from but still to this day yis have to rave on about 1966.

Im just living for the day we (Republic of Ireland) get drawn in a group with England. Hopefully we both make it to Germany and are drawn together. I would really fancy our chances against your pack of prima donnas.

its not just the manager fault, don't have the players either.

I don't believe lampard and Gerrard are a good partnership and one of them should be dropped. Note I am saying that they are both very good but don't gel together.
