I personally would want a great grovelling apology even to consider it, but if he got the form of 2008-09 back with suarez they would be awesome. Before I get ambushed, remember stevie- g was going to go on 2 occasions, but as a scouser he was too intelligent to take the bait

No thanks pal, we have moved on and i think we are a better team for it.

Ok we are lacking in the goalscoring department......................but lol we were when Torres was here !

I dont think he will ever rediscover that form, certainly not while he is at Chelsea ( they just dont lineup like we did )

No, because Liverpool sold him at a price it was good for Liverpool, and if we thought of buying him he'd still be too expensive.

It's true that in theory with his age is at 27, but IMHO the muscular injuries he suffered in Liverpool changed his game, his confidence, everything.

Looking at how he plays at chelsea, it's clear that he is a one-man team.  He needs people with incredible ability to get him into good positions for many goals.  He can only play as a single striker.  At Atletico Madrid he was there go-to-guy, so he did well.  It was the same for us, and we had quality midfielders that also helped which is why he scored so much.  Chelsea's midfielders aren't as good as setting him up like ours were, and he has to fight with the other strikers for play time.

I voted "No" and not just because of the "Judas" factor.  With his injury record while with us along with his totally shot confidence, he would not be worth the transfer fee.  Our team has changed alot since the days of Torres heydey with us.  And I'm not sure the squad we have could bring the best out of him.

Torres thrived in his first couple of years with us on his speed.  Getting onto balls played from deeper positions than what our current team, and Chelsea's team are accustomed to playing.  Slow build up and intricate passing is not something that suits his strong points.  I also think he's lost a yard or two of the gamebreaking pace that he had when he first got here.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I would have him back based on two assumptions -

1) He made a full frank public apology
2) We didn't pay more than £25m for him

Of course he was a Judas for leaving but I still hold onto the fact that his style never fit Chelsea's, that's why he hasn't succeeded. No one here can deny how good a Suarez/Torres partnership would be. He is a confidence player, I could see us bringing back that confidence to him.

With that said I can't see it happening.

I said no.. not because of the so called "judas" thing or the fact he looks a bag of cr@p at the moment, but because I think he was disruptive in the dressing room and he is a sulk.  We dont need that, everyone says how good the atmosphere is, why ruin it??

A Suarez and Torres partnership COULD of been amazing, his loss!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

there are rumours that he was offered back to us and we turned it down anyway. even if he wanted to come back there isn't a cat in hells chance that kenny or a lot of the supporters would want him back.

we've moved on.

Thanks mate, I voted no.  First thing he'd do would be to buy Walters.

ah...Mark 'Wally' Walters. He'd be great playing along side Steve Harkness again.
